The Cut Mandurah is one of Australia’s top links course located at the seaside town of Mandurah. It’s rated in top 1000 rolex golf courses and little wonder with the breathtaking sights and challenging course. Its probably one of the nicest courses I have played on in Western Australian and was well worth the one hour trip down from Perth.
As you can imagine it being a seaside course it makes good use of the sand dunes and don’t make the silly mistake like Jim of not bringing enough golf balls as a lot of room for error when teeing off. At same time there are lots of holes wide open to make up for it. Also, make sure you don’t forget the sand wedge as you will do extremely well to not end up in a bunker at least a few times.

18 Holes Overview
I actually really enjoyed the 18 holes. The greens were fast, the tee box were challenging, the bunkers were at times unavoidable. Make the most of the views of the first 3 holes as then you head inland till the back 9 but they are equally enjoyable. Also, on the 2nd the building on the right is a lot closer than you might think and try not to wake up its occupants by banging a ball off it by accident like myself. The Cut Mandurah Price of 18 Holes
We got crazygolfdeals.com.au of 18 holes for two, a cart and $25 voucher all for $120. Another one of our friends who didn’t have a voucher got 18 holes, a cart and a $25 voucher for $69.99 which was excellent value especially since this was a Saturday.
Location of The Cut Mandurah
Only one hour from Perth and 10 minutes outside Mandurah town its very accessible and well worth the drive. You fly down on the freeway or can get a train from Perth if you plan to have a few drinks after
The Cut Restaurant
I got the double cheese burger and it seemed to be the best choice from the chicken parmy with bones and a soft pizza so I was reasonably happy. You can’t really complain when you are given a voucher with your fee. Also, got 2 pints of Stella and a serious pain in the head so avoid that like the plague. You can check out the full cut menu here.
My 5 Star Review Rating
I will give it 4 just because the food was a bit of a let down and the 2 pints of Stella were like a bullet to the head. If it was just for golf a lone it would be 5 stars but I’m rating the entire experience.
The course was fantastic. The location was accessible and lucky enough the day we went not too windy but there still was appropriate cover from the sand dunes so a really well built course. The price was very reasonable and the carts were great fun.
