- PM-Training.net My 7-year niche website project which I sold in 2024 after growing it to 35,000 readers per month with a team of writers producing high quality templates and resources.
- Autoresponder Independence After selling my email lists of 20k subscribers wrote and ebook and installation services to help email marketers with the technical setup of an email autoresponder so they could send emails outside of the current SaaS offerings.

- SD Web Services: Digital consulting business in Perth building websites, creating content and agile project management coaching.
- The Pivot News Weekly newsletter with latest tips, interviews, techniques from agile product management professionals with 3,100 subscribers.
- Leisure Athletes Amazon FBA Business selling extra wide padded bicycle seats. Sourced from China and shipped to US. Got to learn about inventory management, Amazon Ad Network, branding, customer service and eCommerce. Sold 500 bike seats but didn’t continue due to listings getting hacked. Proud to have got 49 product reviews.
- Negative Splits: A vibe coding project to turn my race results spreadsheet and turn it into application. Started as tripacing calculator but a goal setting race capturing tool.

Continuous learning by reading is one of the biggest factors of my growth as a person.
- Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins and The Art of Resilience by Ross Edgely, both inspired me to think different on what the body is capable of when it comes to training and setting goals.
- 4-Hour workweek, 4-hour body, Tool of Titans, 4-hour chef by Tim Ferris and his podcast opened up a different way of thinking when comes to hacking and getting stuff done.
- Inspired, Transformed, by Marty Kagan are how I think about Product Management.
- Emotional Intelengence by Daniel Goldman was one of the key books to help me see things from other people’s perspective. This coupled with Dale Carnegies How to Make Friends and Influence people have helped me grow personally.
- Richest Man in Babylon by George Classon, Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, I Will Teach you to be Rich by Ramit Sethi, Barefoor Investor by Scott Page and his savings buckets gave me a financial education which was missed in school.
🗺️ Travel
Places like Thailand all seemed like possible in the movies.
- First adventure was a student visa for a summer in Toronto moving furniture and playing for local GAA club 🍁 followed by a couple city trips to Liverpool, Paris and sun holidays 🌞
- We camper vanned from Amsterdam to Poland to watch the 2012 Euros ⚽ and then back via Berlin 🍺
- Flash packed through Vietnam from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City with a day trip up the Mekong Delta to crawl through WW2 tunnels. Cambodia got to see the killing fields 😢 and finished in Bangkok 🛺
- Stayed in Koh Samui for 6 weeks 🛥️ and going to a full moon party before heading to Phi Phi 🐈
- Moved to Perth, Western Australia in 2017 ⛱️ Glamping in Margaret River, Horizontal waterfalls via Broome, Campervanned to Kalbarri to get a picture on natures window and then to Monkey Mia 🐬4×4 the amazing beaches of in Denmark and Albany. Got engaged in Coral Bay 💍
- Spent 3 weeks in Bali in 2019 as we waited for visas where we went to Ubud, Semiyak 🛶and the Gilli islands – one of many times visiting the amazing island 🐢
- Couple of east coast trips to Sydney, Melbourne for the cup, Port Macquarie, Brisbane, Bryon Bay, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Fraser Island, Airlie Beach and Whitsundays 🐨
- Got opportunity to go to Singapore for Mind the Product conference enroute to Kuala Lumper on work trip 🚉
- Went to Tokyo for a weekend to watch Ireland in Rugby World Cup vs New Zealand 🥝 lots of sighting seeing 🗼 and food tasting 🍜🍣
- Honeymoon trip to a guided 12-day tour of Sri Lanka to see wild elephants 🐘 and then onto Maldives 🏝️ and finally Singapore to stay at Marina Bay Resort. 🍹
- Friends’ weddings from a villa owned by Mussolini in Rome, on a cliff in the Algarve Portugal, Vineyard in Swan Valley, and a Château in the South of France 🧀
